New "Catchment Area" for the Business listings

We've been trying to add a "Catchment Area" to the business listings for a while. It proved a trickier than expected.

Anyway, the first step is ready to use (as many of you already know), you can now add more Counties/Unitaries Authorities/Metropolitan Districts to your area of work or "Catchment Area"

To do so, simply follow the instructions below.

1. Log in from http://www.dealocal.co.uk/user using your username or email and password.
2. Click on "My Listing" on the left hand side menu "My Account"
3. Click on "Edit" on the top centre menu
4. Scroll down until you see the "Catchment Area form"
5. Find the desired new area on the drop down menu and click Add
6. Repeat step 5 until you've added as many new areas as you want to.
7. Scroll down and Click on "Submit"

That is it, your Catchment area has been updated and you'll be showing in all the areas lists you've chosen.

After adding more areas to your listing, you'll notice that at the top of the business listing, just under your business name, there are links to each of the areas you are listed under

Please make sure you only choose areas you in which you offer your services.

We will be adding OutCodes (first part of PostCode i.e. BA1) to the catchment area soon and a Search by PostCode function.

DEAs it's important that you update your business listings "catchment Area" to get more exposure and hopefully more jobs as a result.
