As a Home Inspector I am qualified to do surveys for the preparation of EPC (Energy Performance Certificates) for both domestic and rental properties. I can do HCR (Home Condition Reports) on all properties except system build and I can provide a full HIP (Home Information Pack).
Thatch and older building specialist:
I specialise in older properties of Cob, Stone and Thatch. I am a Master Thatcher and have have worked on many roofs around Mid Devon, I have project managed the restoration several properties from 1250 to 1935.
Training Courses:
I also run the Understanding Thatch training courses for Home Inspectors, Domestic Energy Assessors, Surveyors, Building Inspectors and Conservation Officers. And in conjunction with the Association of Building Engineers.
