If you are a home seller you will require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as part of your Home Information Pack (HIPS).
We provide energy surveys and are an EPC provider, areas covered include County Durham but we offer a wider service to all areas listed above.
We are an independent DEA, unlike many EPC providers who are part of HIP Panels and National estate agents and solicitors, we can provide a fast impartial service. Some local estate agents may however refer our service to you.
Our Home Inspector can offer advice and recommendations for energy related matters -including energy saving measures that could save you money on your home utility bills.
We can carry out a survey at a time that suits you and we will then produce your certificate based on our home survey.
Our Inspector is fully qualified and is an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor, we can normally provide the energy certificate within a few days from the day of your home survey..
For the production of the certificate the home inspector will carry out some measurements within your home, these dimensions are usually measured internally for your house, flat, maisonette or bungalow, and the inspector requires access to all rooms to survey the windows installed, boiler details, any other heating appliances, electric/ gas meters and will also require access to the loft area. This is essential for determining the energy and environmental ratings for your home. |
