DEAlocal eZine has Launched – Welcome to our Issue Number #1

Finally I got myself together and started an eZine (or Newsletter) to keep you up-to-date about everything happening around here.

I’m going to do my beast to get, at least, one monthly issue. Maybe send some updates in between … we’ll see, it’ll depend on feedback and what’s happening in our market.

New “Easy EPC Quote” form added

During the last few days, some of our members have been lucky enough to discover the new “Easy EPC Quote” webform widget. That’s because they’ve already received an  EPC quote request from some local Home Owners from your business listing.

If you’ve receive and email from DEAlocal.co.uk with the subject “EPC quote request from DEAlocal” then  you are one of  the first lucky ones to enjoy the benefits of this new feature .

The “DEA training issue”

I’m glad to say that we are seeing some results in the campaign for the Energy Assessors training Blog post. The article is already showing in the Google Top 20 for keywords like “DEA training”. We’ll keep the promotion until we get a Top 5 for our main keyword.  

If you have a Website or Blog don’t forget to post a link to the article using one of these keywords; energy assessor training, DEA training, domestic energy assessor training, or any other related keyword you may think of.

Some of our members expressed concern about DEAlocal showing DEA training ads (within the Google Ads shown some places in the website). That issue has been solved now, all DipDEA courses/training ads are filtered out and shouldn’t show in any page at DEAlocal.co.uk. If you see one, please report it (I will need the URL it points to, to filter it out too).

- On Internet SEO Tips –

Paul Sailes DEA in North Shields posted a Blog offering exchanging links between websites to improve each others Search Engines Results. If you have a website, don't miss this opportunity because it is a good thing to do.

On the subject, I'd like to say that exchanging links between websites, can be good strategy. However, be warned that not all links are made equal, there are links that could hurt your rankings to a disastrous extend.

I will be posting something in more detail (hopefully soon :-s ). For now, is worth to know, that your website rankings will be safer if you only exchange links with theme related websites. That's it, website related to our market, especially DEA or HIP related but you can also include Estate Agents or House Selling related Sites and Blogs.

I also plan to publish a post where DEAs interested in exchanging links can leave their details, and therefore will also find details from other DEAs ready for the exchange. Simply post a few steps to organize it and make it easier for everyone.
