DEA Partners are Domestic Energy Assessors based in Alexandra Park, North London. Our DEA’s are accredited with the NHER and BRE government approved accreditation bodies.

We provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) for home owners, solicitors, estate agents residential landlords and HIP providers. We are on the panels of most of the major HIP providers but prefer to build strong relationships with our customers so that they can always work with a trusted reliable DEA rather than an ever changing assortment of DEA's provided by a distant call centre.

For home owners who wish to prepare their own HIP we can advise the most cost effective method.  We can also provide, if you instruct us, written confirmation that you have ordered the EPC component of the HIP so that you can begin marketing the property.  For landlords who wish to prepare in advance for the introduction of EPC's for their rental portfolio in October 2008 we are happy to advise the most cost effective method.  We prepare EPC's for properties within the Greater London (inner M25) area and the northern London suburbs (ie outer M25 postcodes).

We will usually try to arrange an appointment to inspect the property on instruction. The appointment will be as soon as possible subject to the convenience of the home owner. We will provide the Report Reference Number (RRN) which will enable its retrieval on the Landmark national EPC register (www.hcrregister.com) and an electronic copy of the EPC and the asset rating energy graph within 2 working days of completing the inspection.

Usually we provide the EPC within 1½ working days. If there are any queries regarding the property which require a response from the property owner we will initially direct those queries to the property owner if they are present during the inspection or to the person commissioning the EPC if they are not. We will then provide the EPC within 12 hours of satisfactory resolution of the query.
