As a Home Inspector, I am required to carry a higher level of Professional Indemnity insurance, and to have Criminal Records Bureau Standard security clearance, as opposed to the Basic clearance which is the requirement for DEAs.
I am a small landlord and have spent many years in business, and so fully recognise that the requirement to minimise voids and delays in marketing makes speed of response crucial; hence we undertake to compile and register the EPC within 24 hours of the inspection taking place – in the great majority of cases, this will be on the same day. |
